If you’re like me, you don’t know much about the demolition industry. In fact when I think of demolition, I picture a wrecking ball. Oh, there’s cool implosions too.
This episode of the Construction Industry Podcast really helped me understand the place that demolition has in the construction sector, and I couldn’t think of a better guest to talk about this than Mark Anthony from DemolitionNews.com.
Mark is the press officer of the National Federation of Demolition Contractors (NFDC) in the UK. He is also the author of the book titled “Seventy Years of Strengths: The History of the National Federation of Demolition Contractors.”
I had a fascinating conversation about the history of the demolition industry (particularly in the UK) and the role it has played from the post-war era until today.
