Hello all and welcome to another episode of the Construction Industry Podcast.
Today I bring my conversation with Ann Banning-Wright as we talk about her work with construction businesses. We talk about doing things differently, managing change, staying relevant, and adding true value to our clients and stakeholders in the construction industry.
After my chat with Ann, I share with you a quick talk with Jerry Ford on some interesting initiatives he is heading in the construction sector, leveraging the power of networking.
Ann Banning-Wright
Ann started in the AEC industry in the marketing department of a building engineering firm. She worked her way up to Chief Strategy Officer, started a national data center practice, ran the firm’s national marketing organization, and finally ran operations for the West Region (over 200 people) and built a team to thrive through the Great Recession.
With a marketing bent and years of operational experience, Ann brings a focus on differentiation and knows that strategies only happen if they become part of the operations of a company. Ann started Bright Operations LLC, to help firms reach their greatest potential.
Ann is Immediate Past President of the Southern California Development Forum (SCDF), current Board Member of ACE Mentor Program in Los Angeles and past Board Member of the USC Architectural Guild. Ann is a past recipient of the SMPS Leonardo Award for marketing excellence.
