Featured Segment: Interview with Casey Sledge

Casey Sledge
For over 18 years, CEO Casey Sledge has successfully worked for cities and schools. He was a vested city employee before starting his company, Sledge Engineering, in 2004.
His firm provides consulting and project management services to both cities and schools on major capital projects as well as for routine operations. It has helped produce successful and cost effective city and school projects that citizens are proud to call their own, on budget, and on time.
He truly understands the value of the City-ISD relationship and the difficulties in actually working together effectively. Most recently he was a speaker at the 2011 annual conferences for both TML and TASB (Texas Association of School Boards) on his process for improving capital projects.
In 2009, 2010, and 2011, Sledge Engineering was selected for The Aggie 100. This prestigious award identifies, recognizes and celebrates the 100 fastest growing businesses in the world owned and led by graduates of Texas A&M.
Mr. Sledge is married and the father of four children. The family spends time together enjoying water sports. Mr. Sledge has been a volunteer youth sports coach for many years.
Casey spoke with me from his home in Texas. Enjoy!
